Carmel Jenkin no longer does commissions.
What is a giclée print?
A giclée print is made through a modern printmaking process in which individual prints are produced on a special large-format printer in extremely high resolution to give as close as possible a reproduction of the precise colours and strokes of the original work. The giclée process offers the highest-quality reproduction available. All of my giclée prints are gallery quality, printed on 300gsm Moab Entrada 100% cotton rag archival art paper in a matte natural finish. Acid and OBA free and printed with archival pigment inks. Each design is in a limited edition of 20 and are hand-signed and numbered.
What paper is used for drawings?
The majority of Carmel Jenkin's drawings are mainly on Stonehenge paper or Canford card. Due to her long history of drawing some earlier pieces have also been achieved on cartridge paper.
- Stonehenge paper: A traditional fine art and drawing paper with a flawless vellum surface. One of the finest papers around for drawing made from 100% cotton & is acid-free & is buttered with calcium carbonate to help protect artwork from contaminated environments.

The majority of Carmel Jenkin's drawings are achieved on either natural or white paper. A very small amount is on ivory paper. She endeavours to show the truest colours of her artwork on screen, but due to the nature of digital media means colours may vary slightly.
